HOW TO CHANGE THE DOUBLE CLICK INTO SINGLE CLICK IN WIN-XP?

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack (3-User)

CHANGE THE DOUBLE CLICK OF WINDOW INTO SINGLE CLICK BUTTON

HELLO GUYS , IF U  ARE BORED OR EMBARRASSED WITH  CLICKING DOUBLE TIMES ON ANY ICON IN THE YOUR WINDOW , THEN HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR U TO CHANGE THE DOUBLE CLICK  INTO SINGLE CLICK OPTION.

HERE IS THE  STEPS TO DO THE TRICK :-
When you browse the Web with Microsoft Internet Explorer, links open with a single click. Yet, when you browse My Computer or My Documents, a single click lets you select a file or folder, but you have to double-click to open it.
If you'd rather single-click to open files and folders, you can change the setting on your mouse (don't worry, this process doesn't require any double clicks).
To change the settings on your mouse

1.
Click Start, and then click My Computer.

2.
Click Tools, and then click Folder Options.

3.
Click Single-click to open an item. Then, click OK.

Now you can navigate folders and open files with a single rather than a double click. If you need to select a file, simply hold your mouse over the file for a few seconds without clicking.

FACEBOOK CO-FOUNDER LAUNCHES JUMO FOR SOCIAL GOODS

Today, users can start connecting with all their favorite social causes in one online sphere, as Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes has launched his much-buzzed-about social network, Jumo, reports Mashable. Hughes, who left Facebook in 2007 to become the Obama campaign’s director of online organizing, soft-launched Jumo last March.

At that time the site existed merely as a homepage featuring a rather intriguing survey box that asked the site visitor an array of questions from, “If you had a daughter tomorrow, which would you name her?” to “Would you say the world is getting better or worse?”

HOW TO STOP SPAMS ON MY T-MOBILE PHONE ?

This is a tough problem, and there’s no guaranteed, fool-proof way to stop spam texts without stopping all texts. But there are some things you can do. Start by replying to the messages with the word Stop or Unsubscribe. Then, try getting T-Mobile’s help. With T-Mobile Message Blocking you can block text, picture, IM, and e-mail messages. But that is a sort-of all-or-nothing proposition which would prevent you from sending or receiving all texts, IMs, or e-mails.

T-Mobile also offers SPAM & Keyword Filters, which lets you filter and block messages sent from the Internet to your @tmomail.net address. Note: every T-mobile phone has its own e-mail address (your 10-digit phone number @tmomail.net). The SPAM & Keyword Filters will not block messages sent to you from other phones or third-party services.
To filter e-mails sent to your phone, go to my.t-mobile.com and log-in using your phone number and password. Click Connect and Share, and then select Configure Your E-Mail. From the pop-up box, select Create E-Mail Filters. Then click Create Filter, or select from one of the preset filters. Then check off the appropriate items from the drop-down menu. To block a specific address, use a From field. To block a specific topic, such as Viagra, use the Subject field. Click Save. For more info, check out support.t-mobile.com.
You should know, according to the 2005 CAN-SPAM Act, the FCC prohibits the sending of unwanted commercial e-mail messages to wireless devices. This covers cell-phones and pagers if the message is sent from an Internet address and includes a domain name, like @lovecreative.com.  The complaint should include your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. It should also have your mobile phone number. Then let them know that they were attempting to sell you unwanted Viagra and whether the messages offer a way for you to unsubscribe.

WHY ARE THE RICH SO GOOD AT INTERNET?

RICH ON THE INTERNET

Pew Internet has released a report finding that income is the strongest predictor of whether, how often, and in what ways Americans use the web. The report adds nuance--and a few surprises--to existing research on America's digital divide. It even suggests the existence of a tipping point, where Internet use takes off at a certain income level.

A lot of this makes intuitive sense. After all, laptops and broadband cost money. But the Pew report finds that even among groups that own the necessary technology, less wealth equates to less (and less varied) Internet usage.

"Many of these households are not impoverished," the report's author, Jim Jansen, tells Fast Company. "Many do have the technology, but for variety of reasons do not engage in certain activities as frequently." It's predominantly the wealthy who take advantage of the benefits offered by the web--even though it's the less wealthy who could use them more.
The report, an umbrella analysis of three Pew surveys conducted in 2009 and 2010, compares Internet use among American households in four different income brackets: less than $30,000 a year; $30,000-50,000; $50,000-75,000; and greater than $75,000. Respondents--more than 3,000 people participated--were asked a variety of questions about how often they used the Internet, and what sorts of services they took advantage of (such as email, online news, booking travel online, or health research).
As might be expected, the wealthier used the Internet more. But the degree of the spread was a surprise, says Jansen. Almost 90% of the wealthiest respondents reported broadband access at home. Of those in the under-$30,000 households, that figure was only 40%. "I would expect some type of correlation," says Jansen. "But we controlled for community type--urban, rural, suburban--educational attainment, race, ethnicity, gender, and age." None was nearly so strongly correlated as income.
Age did have some effect, and rural regions were a good deal less wired than their urban peers. Jansen guesses that has to do, simply, with broadband infrastructure; his own family lives "in the sticks of Missouri," and still rely on dial-up access. "But even with those--age, community type--the practical effects very minor," he says.
The relationship between money and Internet use is a real puzzle. Once a modestly middle-class family buys a computer and Internet access, why is it that they spend less time researching products online than their wealthier counterparts, given that they have a tighter budget than the ultra-wealthy?

"It would be interesting to look at what is going on at that particular income level," says Jansen, suggesting a potential tack for further research, "that seems to indicate a fairly robust use of technology and interest."
Jansen, like any careful researcher, cautions against confusing correlation with causation. It may be that people are using the web to make their fortunes, and not using their fortunes to surf the web. But his report, which can be found on Pew Internet's site, shows the correlation clearer than anything yet. "We're talking about double-digit differences in some of these activities. I found that very striking," says Jansen.

HOW TO MAKE A USEFUL BATTERY CHARGER?

FIG.1
Build A Smart Battery Charger Using A Single-Transistor Circuit by Ejaz ur Rehman is one of the most popular articles on mobile2downloading.blogspot.com. It is just one of thousands of Ideas for Design  articles that we have published over the years.

IFDs are short articles designed to deliver a basic idea in a compact and concise format. We have at least two in every print version of Electronic Design and more online. Often they include a single circuit diagram like the one for the single transistor circuit (Fig. 1).

I cover the Digital and Embedded technology areas for Electronic Design but I've always been interested in the power and analog IFDs because they are often handy adjuncts to digital projects that need power or analog interfaces. In many cases, a project needs power or has an analog requirement. IFDs often come in handy because the provide the answers in a short and simple fashion.

There are literally hundreds of IFDs for battery chargers or power supplies on our website. Finding them all can be a challenge but I have collected a few here. The Build A Smart Battery Charger Using A Single-Transistor Circuit article is one of the simplest although it requires a relay. The transistor in the circuit actually controls the relay. It is one way to charge a battery but not necessarily the lowest cost or most reliable. It does work.

FIG.2
The Battery-Charger Load Switch Approximates An Ideal Diode article uses an alternative technique (Fig. 2). It is more complex using a battery-charging IC with a Power OK (POK) output, like Maxim's MAX8814. There are more parts but eliminates the relay and uses power transistors instead. The charging characteristics are also more complex because of the battery-charging chip.
Of course, sometimes you might be looking an in depth article. Something like Battery ICs Charge, Gauge, And Authenticate might be more useful. Our feature articles are often written by our editors or a contributing editor.

MOST CRAZY COMMANDS FOR LINUX

TODAY I AM GOING TO TELL YOU THE MOST CRAZIEST COMMANDS USED ON LINUX. IF U LOVE TO WORK ON LINUX THEN YOU HAVE A PRIVILEGE TO WORK ON LINUX BECAUSE OF MOST CRAZY COMMANDS ON LINUX. HERE I JUST TRY TO TELL U ABOUT THE MOST USEFUL COMMANDS ON LINUX IF U DON'T KNOW IT.

HERE ARE SOME CRAZY LINUX COMMANDS FOR YOU:-

  1. Often, commands on the console may span many lines, and encountering a type mistake at the beginning of the command would require you to use the slow way of punching the right/left arrow keys to traverse in the command string.

    Remedy: Try Ctrl+e to move to the end of the command string and Ctrl+a to reach start. It’s the fastest way to edit a Linux command line. To delete a word in the command string, use Ctrl+w.

  2. Another wonder of a simple shell variable is !$. Let’s say you have to create a directory, go into it and then rename it. So the flow of commands would be:
    $ mkdir your_dir
    $ mv your_dir my_dir
    $ cd my_dir
    Remedy: Well, Linux has a shorter and quicker way:
    $ mkdir your_dir
    $ mv !$ my_dir
    $ cd !$
    !$ points to the last string in the command string. This is useful in various scenarios where the last word of command string is to be used in subsequent commands (almost with all Linux commands likevitargzip, etc).

  3. Do you want to know what an ls or a date command does internally? Just run the following code to get to know the basic block of any Linux command:
    $ strace -c /usr/bin/ls
    strace is a system call monitor command and provides information about system calls made by an application, including the call arguments and return value.

  4. What if you want to create a chain of directories and sub-directories, something like/tmp/our/your/mine?

    Remedy: Try this:
    $ mkdir -p /tmp/our/your/mine

  5. One very interesting way to combine some related commands is with &&.
    $ cd dir_name && ls -alr && cd ..

  6. Now for some fun! Have you ever tried checking the vulnerability of your Linux system? Try a fork-bomb to evaluate this:
    $ :(){ :|: & };:
    It’s actually a shell function; look closely and it’s an unnamed function :() with the body enclosed in {}. The statement ‘:|:’ makes a call to the function itself and pipes the output to another function call—thus we are calling the function twice. & puts all processes in the background and hence you can’t kill any process. Finally ‘;’ completes the function definition and the last ‘:’ initiates a call to this unnamed function. So it recursively creates processes and eventually your system will hang. This is one of the most dangerous Linux commands and may cause your computer to crash!

    Remedy: How to avoid a fork bomb? Of course, by limiting the process limit; you need to edit/etc/security/limits.conf. Edit the variable nproc to user_name hard nproc 100. You require root privileges to modify this file.

  7. One more dirty way to hack into the system is through continuous reboots, resulting in the total breakdown of a Linux machine. Here’s an option that you need root access for. Edit the file/etc/inittab and modify the line id:5:initdefault: to id:6:initdefault:. That’s all! Linux specifies various user modes and 6 is intended for reboot. Hence, your machine keeps on rebooting every time it checks for the default user mode.

    Remedy: Modify your Grub configuration (the Linux bootloader) and boot in single user mode. Edit the file /etc/inittab and change the default user level to 5.
