A BUDGET TOUCH PHONE WITH IPS DISPLAY-LAVA A10

LAVA LAUNCHES A IPS DISPLAY PHONE - LAVA A10

Indian mobile company  LAVA has launched the A10, a touchscreen phone for Rs. 5,500 that has advertises a few baits to get people amazed. First and most amazing  is its 3-inch IPS (In-Plane Switching) screen,  the type of screen that is used in the Apple iPhone 4 &  iPad. It has a superior image quality  and a 178 degree wide viewing angle. The company doesn't tell anything about screen resolution. But considering it is an inexpensive phone, we wouldn't imagine it to be above a QVGA or 320 x 240 pixels.

Also, there's no clarity over whether this is a capacitive or resistive type - but the words "Multi-touch" in the description makes us believe (and hope) that it is the former.

Another thing about this mobile is its Gunmetal finish body which looks nice . It has  a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with Flash, a Yamaha PA system that should promise us loud decibels of sound from the speaker-phone, if not the "great quality" and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Another feature which amazed  our eye by surprise is the "Map my India" maps built-in, but there's no GPS chip given  anywhere so turn-by-turn navigation's out of the question. There are a couple of games pre-installed and a G-sensor for motion based gaming. Lastly, a microSD card slot supports up to 16GB of memory.
