Bugatti Intoduced ‘porcelain’ Grand Sport L’Or Blanc

Bugatti has launched a world-first one-off special edition by creating a Grand Sport that uses porcelain in its construction.

The Bugatti Grand Sport L'Or Blanc is a genuine bespoke Bugatti. Its unique bodywork and porcelain elements have been crafted in association with Berlin porcelain art specialist KPM - and could even herald further production-ready collaborations in the future.
Bugatti says the Grand Sport L'Or Blanc "redefines the art of design". It is a car not intended for the road, but for the car collector's studio, and has been painted and finished to a fantastic level of detail that reflects this.
The Bugatti one-off is dominated by its amazing body finish. The surface of a white Grand Sport was marked out and painted, both by hand, to create the stunning look.
This was set off by porcelain components that herald an automotive first.
"At first, it seems to be an unusual idea to use porcelain in a car, especially in the world's fastest convertible," said Dr. Stefan Brungs, director of sales and marketing at Bugatti.
"But this is what Bugatti stands for: the realisation of exceptional ideas whilst striving for the utmost in quality and aesthetics.
"This allows us to continue Ettore Bugatti's heritage, who himself loved to experiment with new materials."
Bugatti says the partnership with KPM will be continued as it reveals the remarkable new Bugatti Grand Sport L'Or Blanc to the world.
Needless to say, though, the porcelain-finish new Bugatti Grand Sport L'Or Blanc does not come cheap. Bugatti is quoting a price just under £1.5 million...
